Photographic prints on archival paper

Photographic prints come in a range or sizes from 5″x5″ up to 30″x45″, depending on the image. They are printed on the highest quality archival paper. This is either Kodak Endura Professional Papers or Fuji Crystal Archive. The normal longevity of these prints in typical display conditions is 100 years.

Luster paper is used for an excellent reproduction of color and tone without the super-reflectivity of a high gloss or the dull look of matte paper.

The prints are all printed by a professional lab from high quality, high resolution files.

The orientation of the print, vertical (portrait) or horizontal (landscape) is just as shown in main the listing image. Click on the image you are interested in purchasing and the enlarged view shows the exact orientation of that image.

NOTE ON SHIPPING CANVASES: At this time, I can only ship canvases within the USA. If you are outside the USA and would like to purchase a canvas or canvases, please email me and I will try to work out a solution. The reason for not shipping outside the USA is simply the prohibitive cost of shipping. Prints on metal

The photographs are printed on a rigid aluminum sheet with a white base and a semi-gloss finish.

The semi-gloss provides the best of both worlds for the type of images I offer. The colors are vibrant and full but the surface is not so reflective as to be distracting with reflections of room objects, lights and so on.

For me, metal prints are the best option for the images of reflections of Venice, especially the abstract reflections.

But this depends on the environment in which they will be displayed. The metal works very well for any modern, contemporary decor.

Mounting options for metal prints

There are several ways to mount and hang metal prints.

Smaller prints can be mounted with an easel on the back so they can stand on a table or other surface. This is available for prints up to 10” x 10” or 8” x 12”.

Metal brackets are the default option. They are sturdy and give the print the appearance of floating 3/4” off the wall.

An Inset Metal Frame is a very easy and sturdy mounting option. The frame is black, inset from the edges of the print and has a depth of 1 5/16” which gives the print the appearance of floating.

The Float Mount has a pre-cut hole at the top for easy hanging and also gives the print the appearance of floating 3/4” off the wall.

Metal prints are shipped with the default mounting of metal brackets for sizes 8”x8” and larger. This is included in the price. If you require another mounting option, then you should contact me before you place your order and we can adjust the price. The Inset Metal Frame is slightly more expensive.
