Two visits to Venice have left me with the fondest memories you could imagine of a city that is like no other I have seen. An extraordinary place steeped in history and faded glory.

Two videos. The first is the gondolas at the bottom of St. Mark’s Square, bobbing up and down at night. A beautiful, calm scene. The second is more lively! Groups of excellent musicians play outside the various cafes in St. Mark’s Square. This one, outside Florian, was the best we saw.
